Hey all, it's been a while.
Been so busy with work lately, I'm too tired to even blog.
Just so you know, I'm blogging from my phone.
I only realise I had free internet access in my phone last Saturday. Silly me.

Last weekend was the hightlight of last week.
The girls decided to have a Slumber party to catch up and spend time together.

We began by driving to East Coast, Mac Cafe for supper. It was mad fun chattering and playing UNO cards with them. Laughing at every wrong move made.

We then headed to Farah's place.
As usual, we had manicure, gossips, "proffesional" make up artists, midnight snacks, video making, kareoke and so much more.

I had so much fun, I was still awake at 6am.
That night is one eventful night I'll never forget.

Babes, we shall do it again some time soon!
I miss each and everyone of you already..

According to you.

It's been donkey days since I last blogged!
Today is the 1st day of my 3rd year internship.
I've been assigned to Singtel Comm. Center.
How Awesome!
I feel rather special today.

This morning, Daddy drove Mummy & I
for a quick breakfast at Arab Street before work.
Drinking tea (I'm a starter, I don't like coffee --yet)
in the morning, reading The New Paper & spending my early morning
with the two that I love most. Mummy & Daddy.
I felt like ONE-OF-THEM. A working adult (Just like them).

For a moment, it made me think.
Though my past experiences in my attachments in UOB & Cheers,
I learned that it's hard work earing money & pleasing the people
(families, friends) around you.

I get frustrated and tired at work, but I learnt to leave those feelings at work.
In turn, be optimistic and happy when I'm home or with my love ones.
(It would be really selfish of me if I were to let my anger out at home.
I would end up ruining their day(s) too. )

I'm amazed how Mummy & Daddy can put their work problems aside and be happy.
They went Swimming with Aufa & I last Saturday.
Both of them even went to the extent of taking the water slide & sitting in the Jacuzzi with me.
Oh I love them both so much.

Right after my 1st day at work today,
I met up with my cousin, Athira and her Mom to buy cakes for my Grandma.
It's her Birthday today. She's still undergoing therapy in a Health Care Center.
So, my relatives decided to celebrate it at the Ward itself.

I'm really pleased with her progress today. Insya'allah, she will get better soon.
Athira & I tried to cheer her up by asking silly questions.
Her responses and facial expressions made us laugh our hearts out.
I feel grateful. I made her happy. I made her smile.
It made me realize that she enjoys our presence.
I wish I could make her feel that way everyday.
(It all takes effort.)

To finish off my special day, Daddy & Mummy took me shopping for some office wear.
(:

I've learned so much today!
I'm looking forward to the many days to come.

These few weeks have been really mundane and saddening.
There's so much going on.

Glee!

Thank goodness for Gloria Jeans!
Right after a tiresome day in school,
I asked Nad to join me at Gloria Jeans for Ice Chocolate.
We sat down and discussed on our Final Project;
International Cross Cultural Management.

I'm extremely excited for this project.
Mainly b'coz it involves filming. :D
Prior to that, I get to work with my 2 favorite people,
Nadzirah and Fara :))

The crazy side of us!

Little Twist

A week of my holidays has passed.
For alternate days, I've been visiting my Grandma at the Hospital.
It's been almost 2 weeks since she's been warded.
Sure is tough for her to struggle to get better.

My relatives and I are giving as much time as we can to take care of her.
Every moment spent with her is treasured.
I just wish I could do more, to help ease the pain for her, make her laugh
and everything else.

The Girls trip to KL will be postponed due to my Grandma's condition.
We've realized that this the time she needs us the most!
Anyways, it feels like my holidays began only yesterday.
Time flies really fast these days.

An update for this week, I went to Johor Baru with my relatives
to take a look at our New house we bought at JB.
It sure looks lovely!

Our new neighborhood!

Earlier this week, the girls (Khairun, Athira and I) spend
the night at Sheraton Hotel.
We had the whole pool to ourselves.
Thus, we did somersaults into the pool
Thank you Uncle! :)
At mid-night, we had dinner at Newton Circus with Azzeri and Haziq.
Uncle treated us to THE BEST Chocolate Mud Pie in Singapore.

Before I headed to the hospital yesterday,
Nisa and I had our very our expedition in Singapore.
We visited 5 tourist attractions which includes;
Clark Quay, Little India, Arab Street, Esplanade & Singapore River.
It was pure fun I tell ya!

As for now, I need to get ready.
I'm catching an after Mid-night movie with Azzeri.

Azzeri took me to the movies yesterday to watch Avatar in 3D.
For two hours and forty minutes, we felt like
we were being exposed to a brand new world.
All in all, the visuals were simultaneously thrilling,
provocative and surprisingly moving!
One of the best movie's I've ever seen.

The Tepanyaki Meal aka Avatar meal is no longer sold in my school.
What a disappointment. I'll miss that meal!

Girls and I are planning for a Girls vacation to KL this Holiday.
I feel so intoxicated. OMG!!!

I'm a Bird with

Broken Wings

Attended Audi's Passing Out Parade today.
The March and performance was great.
After a final Parade march, the cadets stand at attention.
Finally, they announced that these guys are officially Passed Out!
They threw their caps in the air, and ran towards their family members.

Audi came running towards us, and I had this sudden urge to hug him.
Honestly, it very rare that I hug him. Hah!
Welcome back Big Brother, and Congrats for Passing out!

Soon after, we had lunch at Pizza Hut.

Silly jokes tickled us so hard, we burst out laughing.

I just loove family moments like this.

And in the late evening, we went Kite flying at Marina Barage.

(Usually, we fly our kites at Sengkang Field.)

Our kite sure drew the crowds attention.

Ours were the only ones with the LED lights on the kites.

Thus, there were the 2 most outstanding kites in the evening sky.

The wind there was soo strong, our kite flew higher in the sky as we release the string.

We were so close to losing one of our kites.

It flew so far away, the nylon line got caught in a tree.

Daddy had to put in so much effort to free the kite.

He said it was more like fishing a whale.

Yes, that's how strong the wind was.

I love you Daddy!!

Below, one of our kites!

About 5 groups of people approached us one after another, asking about our kites.

Most of them had no idea Sengkang Field was very happening.

The 2 large fields there are always filled with people even on weekdays.

If you have the chance, do head down to Sengkang.

You'll be able to see all sorts of kites, even the Stunt kites!

It's been a pleasant yet tiring day today.

I wonder what's to come tomorrow.

What matters most.

My girls are just awesome!!
The girls that have crawled with me, learn to walk with me,
and grow up with me, are none other than my girl cousins.
Faizah, Khairun & Athira.
They have been my best friends for 18 years straight! OMG!

We've all grown up already, almost starting to go separate ways.
(That's the last thing we girls want.)
To prevent such things from happening,
we're making so much effort to meet up at least twice a week!

Today, the girls came over to my place for lunch.
Bibik cooked something special for them.
After the delicious meal, we headed to Ochard Road to shop in the new Buildings.
If you notice, most of the buildings there are under renovation,
and they look almost the same.
It's almost hard to tell which building is which.

After the tiresome shopping, we trained to Raffles Place to chill at Mac Donalds.
It's our favorite hide-out. :)
I love the privacy at the 2nd level, we could laugh our hearts out, take photos
and chit chat all day long.
I love you girls a zillion!!

Fill my life with
gladness

Good morning all!
It's a bright and cheerful Sunday.
It's the only day of the week, my family gets to have breakfast together.
Bibik bought food from the nearby market while Mummy wake all of us up by tickling us.

I wonder what our family plans to do today.
On usual Sundays, we made it stictly for our family only.
But as time goes by, things change.
Plans with others become excuses for not being able to spend Family day.
:(

Last Wednesday was Fara's Birthday.
I bought for her slices of cakes and cupcakes.
Upon reaching the lecture theather, I got Wei Jun to help me prepare the cake and candle.
I gave her a call to meet me outside the lecture theater,
And Fara started crying..
"I thought you forgot my birthday!!"
Aww, you know I wouldn't :)

On Thursday,
I DONATED BLOOD!! :D
OMG! I still can't believe I did it.
To me, it's smth really courages to do.
Initially, both Nad and I planned to donate blood together.
But she was advised not to donate since she had more white blood sells.
Thus, only 50ml/350ml of her blood will be donated.
Leaving 300ml gone down the drain.
Poor Nadzii, perhaps next time kay?? :)
I salute you for taking the initiative to want to donate blood.

Honestly, it wasn't as painful as i thought.
However, watching the whole process was scary.
When I saw the thick needle being poked into my skin, my world became blur.
But I remained strong, I'm doing this for a cause.
And so, 350ml of my blood was donated.

Gee, I didn't know I had so much blood. LOL.
Imma LIFE SAVER! :)

After my test paper, I rushed down to Bugis to meet my lovely duos,
Khairun and Athira. ♥
We rambled around Bugis Junction and The Illuma.
Afterwhich, had our girl talk at Raffles Place's Mac D.

On Friday, Fara didn't attend school, thus I hang out with Chai Lin.
I love this cute-sy pie! She's one humble and adorable girl.

At noon, Khairun, Athira, Azzeri & I met at The Cathay Cineplex
to watch The New Moon.
I realise I already have my very own Jacob Black!
My sweetheart, Azzeri. x)
Same body, same hair colour, same personality.
But, he's just missing the face. Darn!
Oh well.. I LOVE YOU JACOB! Azzeri rather.

After the movies, we met Haziq for dinner.
He'll be migrating to Australia soon. All the best dude!
In the evening, we left the guys and trained to Sheraton Hotel.
Uncle invited us over to spend time with our relatives.
The pool there was just marvelous.
Although we didn't get a chance to swim,
just chilling by the pool and talking was great.

Instead of Spending the night at the Hotel,
We had a sleepover at Khairun's.
Crazy pillow fights, mini wrestling, laughing and screamings.
PURE MADNESS!!
How many of you still have sleepovers like this??

Yesterday, my family took me from Khairun's place to fetch Audi from camp.
Before night fall, Daddy took us to the arcade and then dinner.
We drove through Ochard Road and Suntec to view the Chrismas Lights
I feel this years decorations look boring.
Daddy took us to Suntec to buy for Aufa his advance B'day present!

I swear I've never laughed so much in my entire life.
Especially with my whole family..
Had dinner earlier on with the whole family.
Audi returned from Camp this evening.
(Almost as fat as me. Jyeeahh!)

Anyway, the laughing began when I brought up the topic about
Daddy making monkey faces in the lift..
It led to an even funnier topic which made the whole family burst out laughing.
And OMG! I couldn't control myself, my stomach hurt so badly.

Seeing Daddy laugh made me laugh a whole lot more..
So contagious!
And at the end of it, an awkward silence.
Then, everyone left the dining table.

I had 2 test papers this week.
Law & Marketing.
Surprisingly, Law was fairly easy.
And well, I'd rate Marketing average.

Alright, I wanna spend some quality time with my whole family now.
Hope we don't burst out laughing again later.
My stomach & cheeks hurts so badly.

Tomorrow is Hari Raya Haji..
I wonder what Azzeri is doing now.. Hmmm....

Anyway, I googled out of curiosity and according to my research....

LAUGHING "DOES" MAKE YOU LOSE WEIGHT!

M Y M O N D A Y

Class was cancelled this morning.
Thank gawd my classmate, Joe, texted me right before I left the house.

Last week was a pretty busy week for me.
Had meetings, projects and a few tests.
On Friday, I accompanied Nadzirah and her team to the Peranakan Museum.
It's surreal to be able to look at things from the 19th century or earlier.
Where else can you find these beautiful treasures?

The Security Guard and Tour Guide sure were friendly in assisting us.
I was surprise wheb I saw a Eurasian tour guide.
O_o

Later in the evening, Nadzirah and I headed back to Nanyang Poly
to spend the night in school.
We had to prepare all the logistics and routes for the ClimbRun event the following day.
Our commitee had organized this event, which involves running around the school
and climbing 14 flights of stairs (7 levels) and down again, and etc.

The participants were really supportive.
They manage to complete 2 rounds of the routes within an hour or less.
I've never really tried running the route though. Heheh.
Congrates to those who won the medals! ;)

Right after the event in school,
I rushed to Yio Chu Kang Stadium, next to my school,
to watch Azzeri's Rugby Match. Wanderers VS Bugs.
I cheered for the team especially when Azzeri scored 2 goals!
Super aweesomee! I couldn't help but smile throughout.

We both took the bus home.
Both feeling lethargic, we fell asleep in the bus until we reached Tampines Interchange.
(I barely had 4 hours of sleep the previous night.
He played for 2 matches under the Hot Sun.)
We were too tired to have dinner together, we headed straight home.
Perhaps next time love.

Reached home surprised to see Audi back from NS.
As usual, he was sharing and boasting about his Camp.
He shared about himself leading the whole company(team) to march perfectly,
ensuring they maintain discipline during trainings.
Well, I'm proud of my big brother no matter what.

I spent my Sunday at my Grandparents' place.
Most of my relatives were there too.
I just looove these mini gatherings.
It brings our families a lot closer together.

Oh I love them all!

Well, I better head for my notes and tutorials now.
Wish me luck for tomorrows' Law paper! :D

Life's a Rush

Zoom, Zoom, Zoom......
That's how my life's been going..
There's no stoping or time to waste.

Pardon me if I update my twitter more often than blogger.
Obviously, blogging takes up more time.

Yesterday, was a pretty screamy day for me.
After returning home from my Arab reading class,
I had this sudden urge of screaming and yelling at the top of my voice.
Boy, it sure irritated my lil bro Aufa and my maid.
x)

After all the chaos at home, I headed to Azzeri's Rugby match,
Wanderers against the Singapore's Cricket Club at the beautiful Padang!
I was sitting at the edge of my chair cheering for the team.
OMG! It felt good to shout out loud!

The strong wind after the light drizzle felt perfect.
And the view from where I was seated was just marvelous.
Picture this......
Sitting on the grandstand under a tent, with the greens from the Padang,
the Supreme court on the right, with Wedding couples taking photos,
and straight ahead is the beautiful skyline of the City.
Comprising buildings like HSBC, OCBC, Maybank, Singtel and many more.
And finally on the left is the Esplanade. :D

Soon before the 3rd game began, Mummy called.
I had to leave for a soccer match.
I know it was impolite to leave before his last game,
But I had no choice. Daddy was aleady waiting for me at the Kallang Stadium.
Fortunately, Azzeri understood and said his goodbyes.
Sorry boyfriend!

We rush to get some snacks and drinks for the game.
Singapore against Thailand.
Coming early to the stadium sure paid off.
We got the best central view ever!
Facing the grand stand, a potion of the city and the S'pore flyer.
Despite the light drizzle, I was amaze that
20,000 Singaporeans actually turned up for the game.

Audi and Aufa couldn't come due to some reasons,
leaving me seated in between Mummy and Daddy.
For once, I felt like I was the only child.

I was almost confused watching Soccer after Rugby.
There's aloot of differences mind you.
I'd rather watch RUGBY!! :D

Back to soccer...
During the match, Daddy shouted "Refree Kayu" and "**** you"
LOL. It got several kids infront of us laughing.

There was this once, a group of boys had to walk infront of us
to get to their seats in the middle of the game.
Pfft!
Feeling annoyed, Daddy shouted "OEI!!" on purpose.
One of them got really shock! HAHA. You should have seen the look on his face.
The three of us laughed soon after.

Unfortunately, team Singapore lost to Thailand.
It sure was dissapointing for all the Singaporeans who turned up!
Many left after the score hit 3-0.

My family was on of them.
Besides, we wanted to leave before any sort of traffic jam.

I've got my grades for my attachment and modules.
2Bs and a B+. I'm really dissapointed with myself.
I really wanted an A. I know I can do better than this.
Semester 2 is alooot tougher, but I'll do my best!

Spent my Sunday evening with Azzeri by the beach!

Just a quick update, ITE's Contact Rugby lost to Temasek Polytechnic.
The guys were really dissapointed. :(

But, come on guys!! There's more matches to come!!
Besides, team ITE trashed RP, NP & SP!!
That's 3 Polytechnics.. (compared to losing to 1)
You guys were really hard to beat!!

And tmrw there will be a Prize Ceremony at RP.
Chins up! It's not the end!! :D

Just do as I say!!

OMG!!! I'm so glad I manage to pull through the B'day Surprise for Azzeri!
I was hard work planning this occasion.
From ordering the food to inviting people to keeping it a Secret...

Yesterday, I took Azzeri to Century Square's new Popeye's Chicken
for lunch.
(You heard it from here 1st!)
I tried to delay time so the people at the BBQ pit could have more time to prepare.

We then headed to Parkway Parade by bus. (To get nearer to East Coast.)
I had to excuse myself to the toilet and pretend to try clothes at Esprit
just to call Yusri, Azzeri's classmate, for the updates.
Upon informing me that everyone was already there,
I rush to the Taxi stand with the Birthday boy.

At that instant, he felt very suspicious already. x)
Before he could get into the cab, I ran into the cab 1st
and whispered to the taxi driver that this is to be a surprise.
I plug in my itouch into Azzeri's ears and blindfolded him.
OMG! It was a risk, I swear. I never thought Azzeri would play along.

I was so glad the taxi driver was kind enough to play along as well. :D
While talking to me, the taxi driver actually whispered back
to ask me for directions. Haha. (Azzeri was listening to my itouch FYI.)
Due to the kiasu $1/litre petrol (car) queue,
he drove us by a faster route to avoid the Jam.
(OMG! This taxi driver is so freaking AWESOME!!)

However, the Jam was in-avoidable.
Thus, the taxi driver suggested we alight at Mac Donald's
at walk to the pit. ( Not so cool!)

I had to drag the "blind guy" all the way from East Coast Mac Donald's
to pit 32C. Which is about 1km away mind you.
And boy, it's like dragging 5kg of flour.
Majority of the passerbys smiled at me.
I smiled back! :)

One silly guy, bump into Azzeri.
Waaaahhh!! It almost made me furious..
Can't he see? He's not the "blind" one you know??
But, bumping into a Rugby player is like bumping to a wall.
Serves him right!!

Azzeri however, blindly said "So sorry, so sorry.."
Haha, I love you!!
Finally after the 5 minutes walk, we reached the pit.
I was sooo glad with the number of pple who turned up.
Even Mummy was there preparing the stuff for all the guests.
I love you Mummy..

Anyway.....
I unpluged the itouch from his ears and removed his blindfold.
And we shouted "SURPRISE!"
(He told me he almost fainted. LOL)
Sang him a birthday song while his eyes went teary.
He smiled so widely, (it made me blush).

I'm so thankful for those who came for this celebration
and made it a Wonderful & Memorable one for both Azzeri and I.
I couldn't have done it without all you guys!

Thank God it's Friday.
The weekends are finally here. :D

The 1st week of Semester school was a breeze.
After the whole Semester of TEP previously, I've made A LOOOT of friends..
So much so that it's like I already know 1/6 of all the Business Students.
(Like only the 2nd Year, Sem 1 TEP batch)

Walking along the corridoor screaming each others name, hugging and saying "Hi!"
"Feeling-feeling Popular" x)
There's NO way one can have a low profile after the TEP Semester.
Within that Semester itself, I made about 70 new friends.
I KNOW RIGHT??!

Sadly however, once you notice a negative side of someone, the rumor begins..
People begin to have doubts about others and thus, boycoting him/her.
Often when we hear stories/findings experienced by someone else,
we have the tendency to believe it.
Life's like that, it issn't fair.
I really feel for them.

But, everyone makes a mistake at least once in their lives.
The least we could do is talk to the person to acknowledge
him/her on their weaknesses, so they can learn from it.
Think about.......
Put yourselves in someone elses shoe, how would you feel??
Do you wish to know why everyone's avoiding you??
Will you want to change??

Take "Style by Jury" for example.
(GAWD!! I LOVE THAT SHOW!)
"Average" people are taken into the "Jury room" not knowing that
theres' a Jury behind the mirrors commenting on them.
After hearing the comments, they were taken aback
& felt bad about themselves.
However, they were willing to change.
And at the end of the day, they become beautiful Swans
whom people look up to.
It's all because of the people who gave them a chance to change. (:

It sure was filling and D-E-licious!!

I love the Raya treats made at most of their houses.

Their families' were very warm and welcoming.

ANYWAY.......
I was soo excited for the Chalet that I rush home after my attachment,
grab my belongings and headed for the Chalet straight away!
Family occasions are smth I look forward to always!
The 3 days (4 days Chalet) I spent there was
filled with love, fun, laughter and lots of food.
All prepared by the 4 lovely domestic helpers :D

Azzeri and Yusri came to the Chalet on Saturday night
after watching their soccer match.
Lucky for them, there was still lots of food left for them
I sure enjoyed myself there!
I want more of this occasion pleasee!!

1ST DAY of the 2nd SEMESTER!!
Boy!! Am I glad to be back in school.
:D

Anyways, I went out with Nisa for Lunch @ Swensens Orchard
since school ended early.
Just so you know, it is located IN the MRT station near Ochard Ion.
What a weird location.
But it's the only Branch which has Ice-cream Buffet.
:D
Afterwhich, I headed to RP to watch RUGBY matches between the 4 Polys.
S'pore Poly VS Republic Poly, and Ngee Ann VS Temasek Poly
Republic Poly and Temasek Poly won the matches respectively.
Coincidently, there was also a Floorball match between NYP and S'pore Poly.
Both NYP's Girl and Boy team beat SP, 9-0!!

I think I'm pretty much done for the day!
Soon after, I'll be working on my Tutorials and Notes!
I'm full of energy to start studying again!

When I grow up,
I wanna be a....

Recently, I dream of being a business woman in the near future.
However, after 8 weeks of attachment at UOB has passed,
I'm starting to have doubts..
Frankly speaking, I feel so lazy and fat just sitting infront of a computer for 8 hours,
in the office.
Not only does my body feel sore, my eyes hurt badly too.
I don't wanna ruin my perfect eyesight. :(

I want a future job that requires actions, something in an air-conditioned place?
I don't wanna just sit at my small workspace.
It makes my body feel so weak and unhealthy.
I want to be on-the-go.
I'm starting to love the idea of being very busy.
In fact, I have been busy almost always since secondary school.

During this attachment, I realize that my strength is speed and efficiency.
I'd always try to complete any task as soon as I can so that I can move on to the next one.
Also, it feels like an addiction once you're completely focus on getting the job done.
But of course, it's really tiring.

What I like about this is that, after giving my all in completing the task,
I feel very satisfied!
Suffer first, Enjoy later..
:D

HOWEVER, I'm still a teenager.
My mentality and physical abilty may change as i mature.
Thus, I'll just work hard in my studies and leave the rest to fate to decide.

Can't take my eyes of you.

Drop by Azzeri's school to watch him train.
Since the coach couldn't make it, he took charge.
I couldn't help but laugh at his routine planned for the team.
I'm not being rude.
But they look funny especially when they had to carry (fire man lift)
someone of their own size and do squats.
Some actually tumbled onto the grass, unable to lift each other.
It sure enlightened me after a long tiring day at work.

I must say I'm proud of him for being such a good team leader.
I love you awesome boyfriend!

From Tsunami to Earthquakes to Floods..
Doesn't that just scare you?
Ironically, I didn't feel the trauma from the Earthquakes in Sumatra.

Can you imagine being in such a position?
I feel for those whose houses and villages were destroyed.
I feel for those who lost their loved ones.
I feel for those who have nothing left but to depend on those willing to help.
I feel for those who can't go to school or work.

I'm not surprise if more disasters come our way.

Treat everyday like it's your last,
you may never know what's gonna happen next.

Finally Legal

Hey, whadya know? I'm legally 18!!
It doesn't feel different just yet.
But, just look at all the privileges im entittled to..
Get a liecense, watch M18 movies, go clubbing and the list goes on..

I'd like to thank everyone for the countless wishes on facebook,
through SMS and phonecalls.
Each and everyone of it made me feel special.
Thank you so much for making me feel special for a day!

At 00.00hrs Azzeri called to sing me a Birthday song.
It sure made me blush. Silly boy!!
Azzeri and the girls, Faizah, Khairun and Athira
surprised me at my doorstep, with a drop dead scrumptious Chocolate Cake
and a heartfelt birthday song.

Spent my Birthday with the 4 of them at my place watching DVDs,
snacking alot (OMG!), laughing ourselves silly,
having lunch and dinner together..
What more could I ask for than spending time
with the ones I love on my birthday.

Following that, the girls planned for a Sleepover at Athira's place.
As per usual, we had pillow fights, gossips and, lots of fun and laughter.
We did so much, we feel asleep only at 5am.

Woke up at noon and watch a DVDs again.
And then, made Chocolate Chip Cookies at Athira's and Faizah's place.
They taste Oh-so-good!!!
Shimada came over to Faizah's place in the late evening.
We then had Dinner together at Kembangan's Al Ameen Coffeeshop.

Reached home only at 12am.
Uncle and Pak Busu's Family came soon after for visiting.
I'm glad they came!

Can we pull through
this avalanche

Life is random just like the weather.
Sometimes bright and sunny, at times cold and mundane.
And at times very furious like the thunderstorms.
I love it when its just right, with slight gushes of wind blowing against my face.
It feels so calm and relaxing.

There's been a sudden haze since yesterday.
And boy am I worried for those with asthma as they are fond to get asthma attacks
due to the terrible haze.
Thus, I'd recommend those having asthma to wear a mask when you step outdoors.
:D

I've not been updating often due to the fact that
I've been staring at the computer for 8 hours at work, 5 days a week.
My eyes really need a break.
Thank gawd for the marvelous view from the office.
It sure helps me fight Myopia.

Audi called home yesterday from his Camp.
I'm glad he's doing fine. Honestly, I do miss his presence.
I can't wait for his return this Saturday noon.
My whole family will be fetching him from Camp.
I'm looking forward to see how much he has change within a week.
Or maybe....not?

I'm on leave on Friday.
Uncle is taking the 4 girls,
Faizah, Khairun, Athira and myself to watch a performance at NUS.
Really looking forward to spending time with all 4 of them.
I miss them plenty!!

Speaking of miss,
I miss school terribly..
I miss everyone back in school..
All the crazy people from MSC, my babes Fara and Nad,
My dance buddies, Adventure Club members, TEP committee team,
And the many others whom are equally special to me.

I've been missing all my CCA meetings due to my attachment.
I have so much to catch up on. I know!
But it can't be helped. It's really very inconvinient to go back to school after work.
And even if I do, I wouldnt be able to attend the meetings on time.
Should anyone of you be reading this,
I'm really sorry I couldn't attend the meeting for these 9 weeks.

My eyes are really tired already.
I should be turning in now.

Don't Forget

Been almost 2 weeks since I last blog.
My attachment is making me really worn-out.
I can't wait for it to end. Really!
I'm always half an hour early for work.
Thus, I manage to snap some photos during my attachment.

And here's a rough update for the past few weeks/days..

Last Sunday, I planned for a dinner with my cousins,
to break fast and celebreate both Khairun's and Faizah's Birthday!

On Tuesday, my whole family break fast at Mummys' parents' place.
My grandma slightly ill, but she still is funny. I love her!
On Wednesday, Daddy drove us to Tan Tock Seng to visit his parents.
My grandpa was admitted to hospital due to an asthma attack.
Alhamdullilah he's much better now.

And on Thursday, I received a text from Nisa to join the girls for Dinner.
She got me all excited, I couldn't wait for the day to end.
We broke fast at Popeye's Chicken located at the Singapore Flyer.
Popeye's Chicken is soo heavenly..
In addition, the mash potato and scrumptious Biscuits were available.
Gaahhh~

Yesterday, Audi was sent for NS.
I didn't manage to accompany my family due to the attachment.
I do hope he becomes a more responsible person after NS.
;)

Today, I accompanied Nisa to get her Jeans at Orchard.
Rambling around town with her is wicked awesome.
We had so much to talk about especially since I've not been in school for weeks.
Seems like everyone's having a real good time back in school.
I can't wait to go back to school to meet up with the rest.
I miss them all sooo much!

Nisa and I filled our time cam-whoring.

Obsessed

The past few days has been amazingly fun and busy.
Since last Thursday, there's been guests at my place.
Audis' friends and Azzeri hung out at our place to watch movies and chat.
Uncle, my aunt and several others came over yesterday to visit Audi.
(Recovering from his injuries..)

I really enjoyed the presence of everyone who came.
The house was filled with more life, laughter, fun AND MESS!
Thankfully, my maid is patient enough to help clean up.
Bibik is such an awesome Domestic Helper..

The girls and I camwhored like crazy yesterday.
I'm not gonna tell u where..
Go ahead and guess. ;)

Release Me

It's been raining everyday since the start of the Fasting month.
It does help me being less thirsty.
But on the other hand, the cold makes me feel so hungry and sleepy. OMG!!
Especially being in an air-condition building for 9 hours straight.
But I shall not complain. I prefer the cold as compared to humid weather.

Working while fasting is a real challenge.
With my grumbling stomach and tired eyes,
I've pushed myself to receive as many calls as I can to keep busy.
Being optimistic does help alot. I'm beginning to enjoy this attachment already.
I really wish to share my hilarious and rare experiences,
but just to be safe, I shalln't blog about it here.

Anyways, right after work yesterday,
I joined Uncle and Faizah for to break fast and watch a performance,
"CrabFlower" at the National Library's Drama Centre.
Being a noob for Drama, I had no idea what to expect.

It was entertaining and simply spectecular.
The performance actually opened my mind to Arts and Drama.
I love everything about "CrabFlower"..
From the gorgeous costume, to the talented performers,
to the outstanding make-up, the bombastic poetry and to the whole story-line.
I wouldn't mind watching it again! Really!

Azzeri has been really busy preparing for his exams,
I've only met him twice this week.
Wish you all the best for your exams love.
I know you'd get that 3.5 GPA again or even better.

I miss you girls so much. You were the ones who add more colours to my life.
Life has been pretty mundane without any of you girls around me.

Road to Perfection

OMG!! Like finally I can access to blogger.
Thank God!! The past week of attachment has been really great.
Within that 1 week, I've learnt so much
to the extent that I was the most efficient for that week
(amongst the ones attached.)
*pats myself on the back*
Something to be proud of at least for now :D

Yesterday was the 1st day of the fasting month.
I still remembered how nervous I use to be
and the doubts I use to have about fasting.
"Can I endure this for a whole month??"
Those were the days.

I'm positively sure that fasting won't affect my efficiency at work!
In fact, I love the idea that the attachment is full shift.
It'll keep my mind off food. I hope :)

It's the weekends and Mummy pestered me
to accompany her to Geylang yesterday.
I can't stand the crowd and the heat. Like OMG!!
Yesterday, I kept complaining until we finally reached Joo Chiat Complex..
AIR-CON!!! Now, that's more like it!
Putri Lilin.. LOL

It's the 2nd day of my training and boy, there's so much to learn. Really!
Can you imagine receiving notes, an inch thick within a day?
It's crazy!!
Thankfully the trainers help explain them in simpler terms.

Despite the long training hours,
I'm starting to get a little excited about this attachment.
I can't wait to put my great knowledge and understanding to work.

Being in the Alexandra Building makes me feel so matured.
Everyone looks so formal, business like-ish, matured, serious, focused.. Busy?
I'm not surprise if I become one of them during/after the 9 weeks of attachment.
Hopefully not. Besides, I'm still 17 :)

Coincidently, I'm in the midst of reading "Remember me?" by Sophie Kinsella.

It also has something to do with the corporate world.
She went from a working girl, (like me) to a corporate big shot
with a luxurious loft and glamorous life. (not like me. YET!)
However, after her accident, she lost 3 years of her memory.
Not able to recall how she became rich and the director of her company.
And..... (Go grab the book and read)

Like seriously, WOW!
Can something like than happen to me?
Get into an accident, wake up from coma and
Taa Daa....
I'm rich and I own a company.. HAH!
I WISH!!

I think I've blogged enough.
I'm gonna sink into my notes and study them well.

For What It's Worth

So much for enjoying as much as I can.
Nisa was suppose to go shopping with me, but she cancelled on me.
Well, I don't blame her coz she's really tired after the National Day Parade yesterday.
I really miss her though.

Earlier on today, Azzeri and I went to the Esplanade.
We could imagine the large crowd that was there yesterday.
And OMG, it would have been a perfect place for anyone to watch the
spectacular fireworks.

Anyways, I am so eager to see the completion of the IR.
I can't believe they have to stop the constuctions due to the lack of money.
So far, it's looking pretty fine. Yay!

Hey Monday

My plan for today is to enjoy as much as I can
before I begin my UOB trainings starting from tmrw.
Honestly speaking, I still need the rest of this week to recharge myself.
And I need to shop for Formal Clothes. OMG!!

Yesterday, Mummy agreed on inviting Azzeri over to watch
the National Day Parade on TV together.
She ordered Pizza from Pizza Hut since Bibik (maid) didn't cook much.
Our initial plan was that the whole family drives to Malaysia or smth.
Unfortunately, Daddy had to go overseas urgently yesterday :(

I'm glad Azzeri enjoyed the hospitality at our place.
I'm sure my family and I loved your company too. (;

Times may be difficult, but I won't give up.
I'll do my best to make you notice me.

An Unexpected Surprise

As soon as I thought I could enjoy my entire 3 weeks break
with my friends and families, I can't.
Last Thurday, I received a call from Ms Noh, my new Supervisor.
I wasn't expecting any calls from school anytime soon. Pfft!
Thus, I felt completely annoyed.
As soon as Ms Noh informed me that I was selected
to go through an interview with UOB for my upcoming attachment,
I wanted to scream!

OMGGG!!!
I knew I had to seize this opportunity :D
I filled my resume and did my research on UOB, just in case.

The interview took place the following morning (yesterday).
There were 11 of us who were selected for this interview.
Of which includes; 9 Banking students and 2 Business Management students.
However, only 7-8 will get attached to UOB.
I got more nervous when I found out, I was the last to be interviewed.

After it ended, I felt like I screwed up.
Went home upset and angry with myself.
I fell asleep, not knowing that I had received a missed call from my Supervisor.
I called her back with very little expectation.

To my utter suprise however....
Ms Noh: Hi Munirah! You are selected to work with UOB!
Ili: OMG, Really??
...
I held my scream and excitement until the line went dead..

"OMG!!!" *scream*
"Bibik, Saya kene pilih untuk kerje kat UOB"
(Bibik, I got selected to work at UOB)
My maid was stunned but she laughed at me.
Who cares if she (my supervisor) called me Munirah?.. I got selected!!
Yay! Alhamdullilah!!

Thus, my training will begin on next week Tuesday till Friday.
Some general information about this attachment;
It involves phone banking (Enquires and Customer Service),
I will be paid $10 per day (for transport and meals),
Our office is on the 19th floor (I simply love the view)
I can take a shuttle bus from Tampines to work (convinient for me),
It will be at Alexandra UOB Head Quaters (somewhat near Vivo City) ,
I will be attached there for 9 weeks
(Oh no, it covers my Fasting Month and Hari Raya!)

Yesterday afternoon, Kak Mada, Khairun, Faizah and I
headed to town for shopping and dinner at Ochard Road.
Azzeri joined us soon after.
While having Starbuck at Wheelock Place,
we were drawn to the Ophan trailer on the Big screen on the Shaw building.
Thus, the girls decided to catch a midnight movie.
OMG! I can't believe I agreed.
(Do you know how badly I hate scary movies?)

Orphan is extremely disturbing and psychotic I tell you.

Today, Azzeri and I decided to have sushi by the beach again.
Only this time, it's in the bright daylight.
Silly boy dared himself to eat horrific amount of wasabi with his sushi.

Girls' Night In

Friday
I was awaken by a call from a very agitated person, Khairun.

Ili: Hellooo..
Khairun: Hey Ili! My friend psyco-ed me to skip my lecture. Wanna go out?!!

It sucks being woken up by a call, but I couldn't bring myself to upset my
cousin, with that super agitated voice.
Also, I hate letting her down when she's at her 110% excited mood.
Besides, we had planned to go out today.

Ili: Oh, okayy..Where shall we go?

Force myself out of bed and kept telling myself! I'm suppose to be excited! So, Yayy...
(I wasn't as excited because I was so groggy. Haha.)

We headed to Bugis for shopping and lunch.
Again, shopping with Khairun is really great.
Untill now, the only problem is that the both of us are indecisive.
I'm so sorry Khairun, I'm learning to make decisions fast now.

Since Khairun planned to study over the weekends,
we ended up cycling at East Coast in the late evening.
Enjoy as much as she can before she hit the books.
And, believe it or not, we cycled in heels/wedges. x)

Right after my arab reading class, I received a text from my aunt
regarding the National Day Parade.
Although we won't be able to watch the Parade on the actual Day,
my aunt got tickets for the last rehersal. :D
The Parade was simply spectacular!
I don't mind watching it again on tv.

After the wonderful performance,
Liyana and I met Athira and Khairun at Ochard Road,
while our Mummys and aunts head home.
We had our dinner and shared how much we missed each other.
And then, we decided.. we shall have a sleepover at my place.

It was there, at my place when all the screaming began.
We played horror games and laugh ourselves silly at hilarious video on youtube
all the way till dawn.
I miss sleepovers and slumber parties.
It's so difficult to have such things again these days.
Either of us will either be having exams, atatchments,
school, projects, other plans.. and etc.

I miss them, girls!

Sunday
I was awaken by Mummy as per usual.
She tickled me and asked to wake the other girls up.
My domestic helper (the maid) had already prepare breakfast for the 4 of us.
The girls headed home soon after.

I was really looking forward to today since Daddy had planned to go ski at SKI360.
However, it was a humid, sunny Sunday, so we gave it a pass (again)
Instead, we went for a shopping at Vivo City. (AIR-CON!)
Earle Swensen's was a perfect finish to a tiring family day.

Daddy had to leave for work and left us rambling around Suntec.
Afterwhich, Mummy dropped me off at Parkway Parade to meet Azzeri.
Silly boy made me wait for half an hour.
After rambling around Parway, we decided to head to the beach.

This may sound silly, but I had sushi by the beach with Azzeri.
(At night that is. We sat somewhere bright to enjoy our scrumptious sushi!)
In addition, Azzeri brought a Telescope so that we could look at the moon and the stars.
Aww, thank you so much for the great evening Azzeri.

Monday
Despite my sore eyes today.
I hit the Gym and Swimming pool with Azzeri.
Feels so good to burn some fats.
(Which later will be gained again after my massive meals and snacking. Lol)
I'm not doing any justice to my hard work am I?
On the bright side, my sore eyes has improved alooot!

Oh, did I mention, some "GIRL" screamed my full name in public.
"Ili Munirah Bte Mohd Ibrahim!!"
OMG!! Pereira Teresa Roderica appeared before my very eyes
coincidently when I was randomly thinking of her. I swear it was magic!
Aww, I just miss that Bestie of mine..
We screamed at each other and gave like 3 hugs coz we were so so so happy
to see each other..
Haha, call us crazyy, we don't care!
:P

I have a feeling this weeks' gonna be pretty boring..
I can't wait for the weekends though. National Day! Yeahhh!!

A Sandcastle

My Sexy Companians (MSC) and I headed to
Sentosa's Siloso Beach at Noon yesterday.
We thought that we could have the beach all to ourselves since its a weekday.
And so, we expected less crowds on the beach.

To our utter surprise however, there were hundreds of students on the beach.
Either Poly, Jc or University students.
I rekon they were having an orientation or smth.

We walked further down the beach found a perfect spot.
Somewhere near Delifrance and BEN & JERRY'S ice cream hut!! :D

Tied Together
With A Smile

It's starting to rain again.
I hate rainy days. It makes my afternoon so gloomy.
Despite being all bored at home, I can't help but recall the fun I had last night.

My relatives and I had dinner at Simpang Bedok.
We were so indecisive when choosing a location.
However, we ended up choosing Simpang Bedok where there is
a wide variety of food to choose from.
I'm really please with the number of people who turned up.

This is only a quater of us.
Wait till you see the whole family.

I love them all, thanks for the wonderful evening.
I'm looking forward to more family outings!

As for now, I think I shall sink myself into my storybook again.

Friday Night Lights

Outing with the Business Students was fabulous!
We headed to Ochard to shop at the latest malls.
Rambled from Ochard Cental to Ochard ION and to many others.
I swear the new malls were awesome.
They were however, built for the high end customers.

Just so you, Nisa, Qidah and their team got into the finals for their Marketing Ad.
Congrats you guys!
You guys deserve it for all the hard work. (;

Right on!

I declare yesterday, the best Family Day ever!!
To my utter surprise, Daddy planned a trip to Kota Tinggi for a day :D
It feels soo good having the family out of the country together, again.
All 5 of us!
From what I recall, the last time was 2 years back?

Anyways, Daddy drove us to Kota Tinggi Waterfall with his GPS to direct us.
Since we're in Malaysia, Daddy drove as if he was on a race track.
And I mean it!! I swear it was scary.
Speeding up and down the hills, drifting at every sharp corners.
I couldn't sleep a wink I tell ya.

After hours following directions from the GPS, we arrived at our Destination.
Kota Tinggi Waterfall Resort.
The Waterfall has turned into a recreation area and resort.
Despite the man-made features, the Waterfall looks beautiful itself.
Daddy insisted we hike to the top of the Waterfall,
where the water is cleaner. And clearer!

Taking a dip into the water felt so cold yet refreshing.
We didn't bother taking a shower after that.
We then drove into town for some Shopping :D

There was this once, Daddy pulled over by the road to buy fruits from the locals.
After a while, more and more cars stopped by to make their purchases as well.
Monkey see, Monkey do!
The owners should really thank us for pulling the crowd for them. ;)

Thankfully, I'm done with my Project Management Project.
On the other hand, I've still got another project presentation tmrw.
I can't wait for it to end! OMG!!!
After that.. TWO WEEKS BREAK!!!
AWESOME!!
